Letter Illumination

Illumination is very complex but addictive. I savor the process and use medieval methods and materials whenever possible. Gold leafing adds to the impact of the finished piece. Doing one illuminated letter is a superb way to gain lasting appreciation of the finesse exhibited in the ancient manuscripts... and the control and mastery required of the artisans doing them.
